Ollie Howell is a versatile London based composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist and was a protégé of Quincy Jones becoming the first ever jazz recipient of a Sky Academy Arts Scholarship. Having released two acclaimed albums Ollie is now focusing on composing, writing music for adverts, films and TV series including BBC’s Attenborough documentary ‘Dynasties’. Ollie has also arranged strings for global acts including Jack Savoretti and George Ezra. As a recording artist and performer, Ollie has released two jazz albums and toured the world. His first album Sutures and Stitches received critical acclaim, with the Guardian hailing it as ‘a fine debut’ and Mojo stating that his music ‘has delicious dynamic flow and an almost elegiac beauty’. His acclaimed second album Self-Identity was released on Ropeadope in 2017.
